7. Latin America Short Film Festival Announces 2019 Line Up + Cinemas

0

Our last short film festival was in 2016, it was a hard time for this project. But luckily, some great things usually come from bad times, so this year’s Latin America Short Film Festival should be amazing!
In the middle of this undeniably appalling time in Latin American history, Lakino aims to amplify the voices of its films and filmmakers by shedding light, spreading love and celebrating diversity.

The 7th Latin American Short Film Festival Berlin has announced its Competition line-up, with 32 works from 15 countries to be showcased from 2nd – 5th May in Berlin at 3 main venues: Kino Moviemento (Kreuzberg), Central Kino (Mitte) and City Kino (Wedding). This year the festival brings together the best short films from across Latin America to Berlin in 5 competition programmes called «Journeys through Latin America», featuring in the genres of animation, experimental, documentary and fiction.

– The opening ceremony will kick-off the festival on the 2nd of May at Kino Moviemento starting at 8pm.
– As a part of our music program, on the 4th of May the famous band from Argentina: Babasonicos will play at Bi Nuu, tickets are available for pre-sale until sold out.
